YOU AWAKE FROM STASIS AS A BLANK SLATE, without memories, only a color word on the pod label. Personal effects, clothes and an insignia-free uniform sit in your stasis pod locker, but no names, no ID. You and the others are the only people on the starship, the HSS Lethe. Ship’s data is wiped or corrupted. The only name you have is that of a “broker.” What next? Who were you and who are you now?
24XX games shine in one-shots and short campaigns. This set-up is designed to give the PCs something personal to be involved in right away, and to hinge on a philosophical question: Are we beholden to our past? If we are no longer the person we once were, can we forge a better path?
