What is it?

Through the Mist is a beginner-friendly ttrpg designed to be accessible to new players young and old.

You find yourself lost in a strange realm after wandering through the woods one night. This place is home to friendly critters, scary monsters, and dangerous magicians. There you find yourself embarking on thrilling adventures. Folks who find themselves here are often at a crossroads in their life. Their adventures offer a space for them to explore their feelings, and help them grow up. 

One player acts as Storyteller, and the rest as tasked with navigating fierce foes, strange places, and growing pains. 

What's included?

This game includes 2 zines: 

- Player's Handbook. Contains game's rules and character sheet.

- Storyteller's Guide. Contains tips for running TTM and three adventures.

Why???

Zine-gameZ are short games made to be accessible to pickup and play. Additional materials are things found in most gamers household, like dice, playing cards, etc. I'm making these to teach myself layout and book production skills, as well as to have a medium to get my games out quick. Zine-gameZ may be re-released as full games in the future.
