Description

Things Old, Things New, Things Borrowed, Things True

21 NEW RACES FOR YOUR OLD SCHOOL GAME

Ivanhoe Unbound is proud to note that this supplement is compatible with Swords and Wizardry WhiteBox and any other game based on the original 1974 edition of a world-famous RPG whose name rhymes with "Truncheons and Flagons"!

The biggest advantage of Swords and Wizardry WhiteBox is its simplicity. On the other hand, players like to have options. Since races in Swords and Wizardry WhiteBox are implemented as normal classes with a few extra moving parts, the best compromise is to have a large number of races available. Like, say, 21 additional races.

WHAT DO YOU GET?

  • OLD THINGS:  Did you miss Gnomes, Half-Orcs, and Half-Elves? Well, here they are!
  • NEW THINGS:  How about the ratlike Slytherkin? Or would you prefer the Pecklyn, a magickal Halfling sub-race? Or maybe the catlike Sekhem, dedicated to a goddess of knowledge, are more your speed?
  • BORROWED THINGS: Many of the races are based on old Dragon magazine articles, such as Half-Ogres, Skulks, and the Uldra!
  • TRUE THINGS: Blackjack! Over the course of over 50 pages of material, there are a dozen more races, for a nice, even twenty-one! And if you need more variation, there are 17 optional "house rules," suggesting ways to make these races different than their "basic" presentation!

Inside the zip file is a 50 page PDF of OSR goodness by Kirt Dankmyer and Abigail Hanley!
