You are the heroes of an action movie, brought together by a shared enemy - or you’re a lone hero,  facing off against something far bigger than yourself. Either way, there’s only one place this road goes, and you’re one of the people brave, stupid, or self-destructive to run straight down it.

Inspired by The Mountain Goats' 2022 album "Bleed Out", "From Here Down To The Exit" is an action movie with a foregone conclusion. Play as an action hero doomed by their own narrative. Fight an enemy bigger than yourself and lose.

This is a game for any number of players. While it was written with a small group in mind, singleplayer is theoretically possible. You will need a six-sided dice, a coin, and something that will allow you to play "Bleed Out" on shuffle (optional).

Content warnings: Violence and death are core themes. While this game doesn't deal with suicidal ideation directly, it does portray death in a somewhat neutral-to-positive light, so if that sounds like something that might make you want to die, tread carefully.

Dyslexia friendly version is identical but it's in comic sans.
