Heroes come and heroes go, but the enchanted relics of the Arcanum Celestia are eternal.
Topaz Blades is a game of spirit beings captured eternally in the crystals of enchanted swords. For the setting, think of the great era after the fall of Atlantis and before the rise of the recorded history of the ancient world. This was a period of many centuries, even millennia, when kingdoms rose and fell, now lost to the sands of time and mists of legend. It is a game where the heroes of the age are disposable, but their weapons have memories and hold grudges of their own.
This is the story of one of those weapons, and the dynasty of heroes whose hands it passed through.

This game requires a notebook or journal, a pen, a pencil, an eraser, and a deck of cards. It works best if you’re willing to play a few rounds every couple of nights, over the course of several weeks.
Each round should take no more than 10-15 minutes, with a nightly session of writing taking no more than an hour or so.
The images in this game were produced by Hounskull, and a lot of the basic ideas I had in mind for the game were crystallised when I saw these awesome images. I can only hope that the artist is happy with my free little game.
