The networked metropolis of Monsoon Sprawl stands tall in the year 199X. Technology has come into bloom; incredible leaps have been made in the field of robotics, from the endless ranks of service androids to the rugged Drones increasingly fielded on the city streets. Elites maintain their grip on the greatest wonders of the age, but their toy box is open to you - their attack dogs. 

COMPLEX is a small, flexible task force, ostensibly for counter-terrorism but often employed for high-profile law enforcement and discreet wetwork operations. Many see you as a force for repression; others covet your access, funding, and relative freedom from consequences. It’s often said that you’ve sold your souls.

This is a future where megabytes are precious and lives are cheap.

199X: COMPLEX  is a compromised cyberpunk microgame using Jason Tocci's 24XX system. You play as COMPLEX agents, troubleshooters who tackle classified cases in the interest of the Factions who rule Monsoon Sprawl. Utilize a variety of robotic Drones on the job and leverage your Sway over the Factions to call in potent favors - but be aware that they hold your leash.

199X: COMPLEX a fully-functional standalone game, but is meant to also function as part of a larger cyberpunk toolkit alongside 199X: INFEST and 199X: SHUTDOWN.
