RIPPED WIZARDS is a rules light TTRPG where everyone gets to be the caster AND the tank. 

THE BASICS

In RIPPED WIZARDS players take on the roles of heroes doing good deeds in the most awesome ways imaginable. Game Masters (GMs) provide the environment, atmosphere and challenges for the players. Players and GMs are not in opposition. The goal of this game is for players and GMs to collaborate on the telling of stories that are both enjoyable and memorable.

WHO ARE THE RIPPED WIZARDS?

The Inter-dimensional Society of RIPPED WIZARDS is a not-for-profit collective of magically inclined exercise enthusiasts. Admission to a branch of RIPPED WIZARDS has nothing to do with an individual’s physique or PBs. All that matters is that, in addition to enjoying working out and studying spells, would-be initiates swear to follow the RIPPED WIZARDS’ creed, which is thus:

 1.      Speak truth to power.

2.      Help those in need.

3.      Always use a spotter.

Groups of RIPPED WIZARDS live together in BUFF COVENS, watching over their turf and looking for opportunities to put their skills to good use. RIPPED WIZARDS never charge for their help. Instead BUFF COVENS find creative ways to make ends meet, like operating day spas or making craft cheeses.

CHARACTER CREATION

To create your RIPPED WIZARD first make-up a cool name, like SILAS THUNDERBICEP or IRINA VAN ABSTORM. Then, in as much or as little detail as you like, note down what your character looks like and what kind of person they are. No baddies allowed.

PLAYING THE GAME

In RIPPED WIZARDS you have just two stats: RIPPED and WIZARD. RIPPED covers everything in the physical world, whereas WIZARD handles all your magicks. With just those two stats players are able to launch all manner of attacks, the more outlandish the better, at enemies who seek to harm innocents.
