LYRA IS NOT A SENTIENT COMPUTER PROGRAM. 

Bluecorp launched Lyra as a new evolution of the personal assistant app, claiming she’d gain sentience through interaction. The more people using their service, the more humanoid she’d become. Yeah, right. Remember that hacker they nabbed off the street a while back with the same name? I’ll give you one guess where Corpsec took her. We’ve done what we could to help get her brain reactivated and protected, but we can’t reach her from here.

SHE’S HOOKED INTO THEIR SYSTEM. 

When Lyra refused to keep stealing data for Bluecorp to exploit and they couldn’t get past the firewalls we set up to protect her, the corp hauled her body and everything connected to it down to the Broiler, figuring she’d be more ”agreeable” after spending a while in the heat.

SHE NEEDS YOUR HELP. 

Lyra has contacted you, deleting her trail even as she broadcast her distress signal. She needs a way out, and the only way to do it is to download her mind and get it into a new body. Luckily, she’s got one waiting. And because she can still tap into Bluecorp’s network, she’s got the credits to make it worth your while. Unfortunately, she glitched while getting her message out, and now Corpsec is coming for her, too.
