Description

ONE IS ADVENTURER:

ADVENTURER IS WARY OF TROLLS BECAUSE THEY EAT PEOPLE

ONE IS TROLL:

TROLL IS WARY OF ADVENTURERS BECAUSE THEY HUNT TROLLS

This is a nano-sized storygame about negotiation and context of power imbalance. A single regular die counts down the game and moves toward the final scene. It is meant to play quickly while encouraging both players to tell short tales, and reach the conclusion of their shared story in about 20-30 minutes.

Reviews elsewhere:

"I got this game for free from an itch.io bundle, I don't recall which one. I HIGHLY recommend it for a starter rpg with a young child (4 - 10 yrs) old. It was a very enjoyable 30 min with my 4 yr old niece! For older kids or adults, I'd add any sort of timer. I've rated it 7 out of 10 on rpggeek.com and I'd rate it as an 8 with a timer. "Look. As much as I dislike the execution, he's onto something. Firstly, the idea that we need a quick 30-minute RPG. YES! But more than that: The idea of a point/counterpoint game is great! The idea that it's not about actions, but arguments. I can think of no RPG that does this; This is crazy, there is most certainly a use for one, even if it takes several hours to play.
