This is a collection of games I'm going to teach you how to play, if you haven't learned them already. I played them as a kid, and I would say they taught me valuable lessons, but I play them even now, so maybe I'm still learning them.

And in some senses, it's more like one big game about finding angels in light bulbs, turning skyscrapers into castles, making potions in your bathroom sink, and blinking your way into strange new places. About risk, about gentleness, about imagination, about uncertainty, about longing, about joy. It's the escape to a world of wonder and fantasy that I strove for as a kid, except this time, the goal isn't to stay gone—it's to bring that world back with us into this one.
