The different components can be used as part of the setting, or should work just fine in "vanilla" Dungeon World, so long as you don't mind a little science fiction in your fantasy.

In the late 21st century, in the wake of technological advancements in human augmentation and transhuman engineering, war engulfed the entire globe.
During that grand conflict, lines of magickal energy that criss-cross the globe lit up, and magick flowed back into the world with a vengeance. That event is now referred to as the Catalyst.
Immediately after the Catalyst, magickal portals, trans-planar wormholes, and lacerations in the fabric of space-time appeared all over the planet, mostly at crossroads and other places of traditional mystical significance, like Stonehenge.
Magick, radiation, psychic energy and stranger things poured into the world through those gates. As wild energies and beings from several different dimensions ravaged the world, the gates overflowed, twisting and damaging space and time itself.
It is now 300 years after the Catalyst, aka the year AC 300. Civilization is only just starting to come back, and the Earth remains a combination of thousands of different worlds and timelines. It is a time in dire need of heroes...
