A sample Ren'Py 7.5 & 8 project that includes often requested features, such as:

The project comes in a .zip folder and is set to a 1920x1080 resolution that can be either reduced or expanded based on your needs.

This template is provided as-is under the MIT License, meaning you may modify and use this code in any games or you make, even commercial ones. If you wish to use the visual and audio assets in your game, please refer to those individual licenses. Additionally, there is $3 .txt file as a thank you for donating if you're feeling generous though, and just contains a link to the Ren'Py engine.
