Lavender Birth is a map I created for GAYhem 2024, a Doom community project for queer mappers.  My map also works as a standalone release, and as such I am releasing it here.  Make of this map what you will.  

How to Play

Lavender Birth should be playable on most Doom source ports.  Personally, I use GZDoom.  All source ports, including GZDoom, require users to own a copy of Doom II, which can be purchased on GOG or Steam.  Both of those purchases will have a copy of DOOM2.WAD in their folders, which can be copied over to the GZDoom folder.  Once DOOM2.WAD is in your GZDoom folder, drag and drop Lavender Birth onto the GZDoom executable.  This will launch the game.

Lavender Birth was created using textures from Gaytex, a texture wad featuring color modified assets from OTEX, 32in24-15tex, and Pride Flags for Doom.  I'd like to thank the texture artists who put these asset packs together.
