A visual novel about friendship, body image, and blood.

The world humans live in is not their own. One hundred years ago, vampires revealed themselves to humanity and conquered every nation on earth. Now, to keep them from wiping out the rest of us, every able-bodied person must donate a pint of blood once weekly to keep their hunger at bay. It's worked pretty well, so far. Humans do their thing, and vampires do theirs. Most people can forget what they're doing.

But what if you can't give blood at all?

Hemophobia is an 8k word count visual novel written in the Ink scripting language and made in Unity. This was my capstone project for my game design degree in 2023, with sprites by the fantastic  Lestat von Friedhof. Please enjoy!
