Spike a Love Story thrusts you into the chassis of a lonely spike trap deep in the levels of a long forgotten video game. As its only contact is the rare visits of the game mascot, it has grown a deep attachment to that singular stimuli, with only one direct way of expressing itself: CRUSHING THE MASCOT INTO GOO. A modern resurgence of ironic interest in this legacy game now gives Spike what it's been longing for: endless chances to show its love via VIOLENT SMOOSHING.

CONTROLS FOR STORY AND SURVIVAL MODE:
On keyboard, press X or SPACEBAR to activate Spike, or the 'South' button on your X-Box or PlayStation Game Controller. They all do the same thing: SMASH.

X key or SPACEBAR or 'SOUTH' button on Game Controller to SMASH
Z key or 'WEST' button on Game Controller to FAKE OUT MOVE
C key or Game Controller RIGHT SHOULDER BUTTON for SPECIAL ATTACK

A and D or LEFT/RIGHT ARROWS, LEFT STICK on Game Controller to MOVE
SHIFT key or LEFT SHOULDER BUTTON to WALK
SPACEBAR or UP ARROW, 'SOUTH' button on Game Controller to JUMP
C key or RIGHT SHOULDER BUTTON for SPECIAL ATTACK
