Iggy Maxwell is an anxious homebody who's never quite seen eye-to-eye with the concept of love. He just doesn't understand people. And people don't understand him. He should be content to plug away at his work and games in the safety of his little apartment for the rest of his days... right?

When one of his friends announces a Christmas party, though, things take a turn. Can he become Cinderella and find his prince at the party? Or is he doomed to spend the day bemoaning his fate in bed?

Our Cinderella is a winter fairy tale themed stat management sim / texting sim created for the Once Upon a Time and Winter VN jams. Help Iggy make it to the party and find love with one of his childhood friends!

Gameplay:

Play each day in the month of December leading up to the Christmas party. Have Iggy work, play games, or text his friends, all while managing his savings and social battery. If Iggy can purchase a complete party outfit and receive a sweet invitation from one of his friends before the day arrives, he'll be able to attend the party. But things can't just end there! Could heartbreak still await this sweats-to-suit Cinderella? Or might a happily ever after await him yet?

Characters:

The characters in Our Cinderella are from my game Our Wonderland; however, I consider this game non-canon to the main game timeline and completely standalone, with no need to know anything about the original to enjoy it. I think of it like a soft AU holiday treat. Adult language and jokes

- Prolific use of words like d*mn, sh*t, d*ck, f*ck, etc.

Sexual humor and innuendo

- Suggestive one-liners and comebacks, flirty come-ons, implications of sexual attraction and/or sexual relations in dialogue, text-based games with implied sexual connotations such as "smash or pass," suggestive jokes, etc., though all presented in a humorous, light-hearted way (and often either glossed over or called out by the MC).

Bathroom humor and scatological references

- A few conversations that mention or revolve around farting, poop, diarrhea, sharts, etc.

Mental health topics such as anxiety, depression, and panic attacks

- Anxiety is a consistent theme throughout as the MC suffers from it on a daily basis. The MC's anxious thoughts come up in conversations and he'll occasionally have an anxious day where he won't be able to do anything but stay in bed. Other topics such as general depression, futility and frustrations in life, etc., come up in the other characters. And sometimes the MC will be shown becoming quite overwhelmed with panic and/or needing to leave a situation quickly because of overwhelming anxiety.

Alcohol and tobacco use

- Alcohol is a common topic within the conversations with mentions of characters drinking, specific types of alcohol, and characters being inebriated or hungover on occasion. A character is also shown smoking.
