It is the year 2X8X. Many things have changed in the world, but one thing hasn't: the predilection of people to gather once a year based on a shared interest.

That's what led Emmy, self-proclaimed Queen of Science and regular violator of the laws of physics, to attend the XXth Annual Mad Scientists' Convention. It all seems to be going well...until she ends up trapped in a demonstration lab!

And to make it worse—or better?—she's not alone.

It wouldn't be a convention of mad scientists without more than a bit of chaos, would it?

Emmy's Lab Escape is a short and silly top-down adventure game for the Game Boy created for AestheticJam: Labcore and Josei Jam 2024.
