Romace

A visual novel with a diverse cast of characters from various ethnicities, exploring romance and relationships through an asexual lens.

This is an ongoing collaborative project created to showcase some aspects of the ace experience, by a team of three ace students for their honours year at university, There are multiple paths and endings, including platonic endings, available within our prototype!

Features

A diverse cast of characters from many cultures/ backgrounds.

A Filipino protagonist in her late 20s navigating the development of her growing relationships, societal expectations and the inner anxieties of being asexual.

Both a male and female love interest, each with romantic and more platonic endings.

An exploration of the asexual spectrum and experience.

Goal

We're passionate about this project. We aim to create an easily accessible, welcoming experience for all players to explore that helps boost their understanding and recognition of the asexual spectrum and experiences, alongside providig positive representation of the sexualities and cultures within Romace.
